Burglaries, Weapons Violations Keep Clarkstown Police Busy

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- The Clarkstown Police Department responded to 628 calls the week of Sept. 5-12, according to statistics released by the department.

Cases included three alcohol and narcotics investigations, six incidents of arson, vandalism or criminal mischief, four assaults and two burglaries and robberies, police said.

The department also responded to 30 domestic incidents, 23 cases of fraud and theft, two weapons violations and four emotionally disturbed persons, according to police.

During the week, Clarkstown police officers rendered assistance in 100 medical emergencies and investigated 55 vehicle and traffic accidents, police said.
